The 16 diameter settings of the MSAT-16 will accommodate loose tubes ranging from 0.039" to 0.118" (1-3mm). This Kevlar cutter has been specifically designed for the cutting of aramid yarn in fibre optic cables. It is NOT intended for cutting the solid central strength member in fibre optic cables, coaxial cables, twisted pair or other communication or electrical cables. The FTS one-step precision fiber buffer tube scoring tool, made of acetal polymer, has a factory-set hardened carbon steel blade.
